Elijah Blake released Free earlier this month and, if there was a major complaint, was how short it was. Well it seems as though that EP was the first in series that is meant to lead up to his official EP release, Drift, in September. Part two of free is only two tracks, but they are very different. The first is a sensual song about the consequences of a one-night stand. The second song is a synth-styled throwback about the person that you can’t get off your mind. Both are strong with interesting vocals and writing and it makes you wonder, if he’s giving these away, what must the tracks on Drift sound like?
