It could just be that the jazz-infused R&B of the early 90’s is trying to make a comeback.  We’ve seen quite a few artists that seems to be drifting away from the darker club beats in favor of more mellow productions that require stronger lyrics and vocals if the artist wants to compete.  Kandace Springs latest single seems to go in that direction.  Asking the man she wants to be with to keep flying high and tell her that he loves her, she deftly glides all around this samba-sounding track with beautiful alto vocals that make you wonder why this man has any issues telling her whatever she wants to hear.
