K. Michelle’s Rebellious Soul: The Musical premiered Tuesday night and it was different than a lot of people expected.  With a complete runtime of about 19 minutes, the Idris Elba produced project was far shorter than what people had in mind when the hip-hopera was promoted.  Instead of being like a Broadway musical, it plays out more as an extended video sampler for an album, which kind of works.  Featuring refixes of tracks from her Rebellious Soul album, the soundtrack for this is now available from digital music retailers.  Take a look at the full production.
