Rob Write is reaching into his past for some inspiration.  His upcoming, 9 Years, is about a relationship that had quite an effect on him.  If Silence is any indication, it was quite the rollercoaster.  All about how being cut off from the one you love makes you crave any kind of contact with them, this song is honest and beautiful.  The production is a little reminiscent of early Hall & Oates but not so throwback that it sound dated.  Write’s vocals are gentle and pleading; a nice compliment to the lyrics that lay it all on the line.  We are looking forward to seeing where this falls in the sequence of his relationship and even more interest to hear more from him.
