If you don’t know why SE7EN and YG Entertainment decided not to renew his contract after he left the army, then this video just looks like a little classy Korean sexy. If you do know, then it just like SE7EN just told people to get over it and come dance.
Give It To Me is a nice seventies style bop that not only lets the singer give some sass in his vocals without losing the sensuality, but it also lets him get in some nice grown-man-without-the-stiffness choreo. This is one of those tracks that just feels good and, despite the fact that the lyrics aren’t that deep, the addictive hook and the bouncing beat still make it fun for the ear. It’s also incredibly catchy.
We will say, though, that this does work well in the context of the full EP as it balances out the R&B ballads with something uptempo.
